Dishwashers Review
Product Comparisons

Getting a good dishwasher is very important. That's because installing one is such a big task, that you really want to make sure it keeps working. Picking a dishwasher is usually a design choice rather than making a choice based on features. You pick the size that works with your dimensions, and that's it. That's because this is a very established product, so they all have very similar functionality.

We've picked a number of dishwashers for all budgets below.

If you are on a budget, we recommend the Frigidaire FFBD2411NS. It has all the functionality of the bigger companies, but costs quite a bit less.

If you can spend a bit more, we recommend the GE GDF520PSDSS which is a great mid-range model.

And if you want to go all out, we recommend the Bosch SHP65T55UC...since it's a Bosch it has all the features, and is built like a tank.

When it comes to dishwashers, the extra cost goes mostly to reliability. A Frigidaire might last you 5-10 years. While a Bosch will continue kicking 20 years down the line.

The Good
These have all the modern features that you could ever use.
The Bad
The biggest negative is that stainless steel appliances require a lot more maintenance. They show spots and thumbprints and some will even develop surface rust if you spill water on them. The rust is easily removed(that's the point of buying stainless steel)...but it's still something to keep in mind.
