Refrigerators Review
Product Comparisons

Getting a good refrigerator is very important. That's because installing one is such a big task, that you really want to make sure it keeps working. Picking a refrigerator is usually done based on features. Do you want an ice dispenser? Do you want a below zero fridge? But the # of choices is limited since this is a fairly established product.

We've picked a number of refrigerators for all budgets below.

If you are on a budget, we recommend the Samsung RF428728. It has all the functionality of the top range, but saves you a few bucks in the process.

If you can spend a bit more, we recommend the Samsung RFG237AARS which is a great mid-range model.

And if you want to go all out, we recommend the Kitchenaid Architect...since it's the top of the line model it has all the top features...and on top of everything it's pretty quiet.

When it comes to refrigerators, the extra cost goes mostly goes to reliability. A Kitchenaid will last you for 25 years, while a Samsung will only last you for 10.

The Good
These have all the modern features that you could ever use.
The Bad
The biggest negative is that stainless steel appliances require a lot more maintenance. They show spots and thumbprints and some will even develop surface rust if you spill water on them. The rust is easily removed(that's the point of buying stainless steel)...but it's still something to keep in mind.
