LCD Monitors Review

LCD Monitors are very important. We spend so much time in front of them, that you need the best of the best, to make sure you don't ruin your eyesight.

To do that, you need to make sure to pick a properly sized monitor. This is one case where bigger is better.

If you are on a budget, we recommend the Asus 24 inch monitor. Its your basic monitor, but at 24 inches, you'll actually get a lot of bang for your buck.

If you can spend a bit more, we recommend the 24 inch Dell Ultrasharp it's a great monitor, has the latest technology(IPS), it even rotates and you can adjust the height....and it even has USB ports designed into it. This is huge, especially since these days there are so many things that use the USB ports. You can use these to access your iphone or kindle or even a usb drive...or you can connect your wireless mouse to get a clearer signal or you can run your webcam cable through it...the possibilities are endless, and you'll have a much cleaner work area.

If money is no object, you can upgrade to a 30 inch Dell Ultrasharp. This is the big daddy of monitors...but you have to make sure you buy the third revision, since the first 2 had horrible reviews. So make sure to avoid "cheap" discount sites that will usually have the old versions.

When it comes to lcd monitors, the difference in price is pretty much insignificant. Going with the tiny 19 inch or 20 inch monitor instead of 24 inches will only save you a few bucks. And since this is your eyesight we are talking about, paying a slight premium is always worth it.

The Good
LCD Monitors are an established technology, so you don't have to worry about quality. It basically comes down to style and functionality.
The Bad
There is really nothing "bad" to look out for when shopping for an LCD monitor.
