Multifunction Printers Review
Product Comparisons
Summary

Multifunction printers are getting more and more popular. They combine a printer, a scanner, a copier and a fax machine, all in one powerful package.

For best results, you'll want to go with a laser multifunction printer. The great thing about these, is that the "ink" doesn't dry, this means you won't have to replace it after a few weeks.

We've picked a number of multifunction printers for all budgets below.

If you are on a budget, we recommend the Epson Workforce Inkjet. It has all the functionality of the big multifunction printers, but you save on the purchase price by not going laser.

If you can spend a bit more, we recommend the Canon ImageClass MF4890dw. It's a great multifunction laser printer that's actually affordable. And it even has wireless support, which means you can put it anywhere you want...and you can print from your tablet or iphone or any other device.

And if you want to go all out, we recommend the Brother MFC 9330...which is one of the few laser printers that prints in color.

Value

Laser printers are actually a great value. Yes you'll spend a bit more on ink...but since most people end up throwing out ink cartridges due to drying, it actually ends up being fairly equal.

The Good
The great thing with these multifunctions is that they can do everything you'll ever need. You'll never have to go to the library or your work just to make a copy or go to Kinkos just to send a fax.
The Bad
The biggest negative for multifunction laser printers is that they can be quite big. And setting one up can be a bit difficult for the non-techies, especially if you want wireless functionality.
